This Week

Not much going on this week just working nights which is kind of rough but will head home on Friday and can rest up. Just hanging around the hotel till time to go to work so decided to put a couple pictures up from last weekend.

Cold Easter Sunday

Well I spent Easter Sunday in Central Park with thousands of others enjoying the park. It was a nice sunny day but it was a cold windy day. I started out on the north end of the park and did not walk all over the park but pretty much stayed on the west side and actually walked pretty much all the park north to south a pretty good walk. I got some pretty good pictures and had some problems with the film camera but still hope I have lots of good black and white shots. I have one posted a couple of buddies enjoying the paper and the park. I will try to post some more shots over the next few days.

Long Week

It has been a long week and working strange hours so have not had time to do much. Raining a bit this morning so have canceled going to the city and will check weather off and on today. The weather is supposed to be nice Sunday so have plans to take some pictures if all goes well. Work night all next week which is a tough this as I have to try to make the last train by about 1 in the morning or I am stuck till about 5. Hope to post some new pictures sometime soon will have to see.

Slow Sunday

Well didn't really do much for Sunday did go to the city but didn't do much. Thought I would go to the Hudson River around 110th st on the west side there is a park there. The park is nice goes for several miles and had ball fields all along it. The softball players were out and the little leagues. Columbia University is out here so guess they might be from there the boys and girls playing softball. First I stopped and had breakfast at Tom's Restaurant at Broadway and 113th it is the restaurant that the set for Sienfeld was designed from. Called it a short day from being a little tired but wished I could have made down to the boat basin and checked out the boat docks but maybe another day. The picture is of a softball player and this one almost went out of the park which is a pretty good shot and hit a real tall concrete wall right in front of me.

Not Much

Not much going on today supposed to rain this afternoon but have not seen that. Hope it won't be tomorrow but oh well will see. Not doing much so thought I would post a picture from a few weeks ago. Picture of the Brooklyn Bridge with the Manhattan Bridge in the background.
